Random Thoughts

"People are like stained glass windows... They sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in, their true beauty is revealed only if there is a light within"

Someone told me I look extra pretty today. :) Funny thing is.. I think I look exactly the same yesterday (with different set of clothes of course :P). So I tried to think real hard of what the difference could have been. I lacked more sleep today compared to yesterday. And I have more girly clothes yesterday too. Hmmmmm... Then I realized that yesterday, I was in a semi-lousy mood. Today, I woke up with a smile. So I guess it is indeed true that a little positivity goes a long way. Spread the love. Spread the smiles. :)

I agree. A smile can make a lot of difference on one's personality and of how one looks or perceives others.

Keep smilin :)

Goes to show that it really isn't the clothes. Minsan yung overall aura talaga yung nagdadala.

so true! i was thinking about this just the other day, when i was fixing myself. sabi ko, "my hair looks like i normally fix it, nothing's different in my face, but how come i feel "uglier" when i do during normal days?" naisip ko na it's inside na talaga. there are really those days when you fell pangit, and there are those days you feel pretty. what's inside just emanates outside. so dapat laging poitive ang iniisip! :)

Ba-Bye Ate

Today was quite a sad day for our family. For a very close-knit family, goodbyes are really extra difficult to say . Especially if the one leaving will be miles and seas away. My Ate (with her husband) left this morning for the US. They'll be starting their new life there. She already has work so I don't need to worry about that anyway, and I'm sure that she'll definitely do well. My parents were really sad... maybe it's the thought of being "away" from her. Tipong you have to hop on a plane pa just to be able to get to her. The whole family has US visa naman , we can go there anytime (as long as we have the money I guess :p) Yes, I cried a lot as well... and I guess it's because of all the bilins I got from her. The one that stuck the most " Ikaw na bahala dito ha.. Alagaan mo sila Mama and Papa. Si Ivan ha... Wag mo silang pabayaan. " My nephew on the other hand was a different story... he was eager to go home already when we got to NAIA.

Chuper Excited!

2 weeks to go.. then I'll be painting HongKong and Macau red with my Sanity Keepers... Any suggestions on where to go to? Beside from the usual night market, HK Disneyland and Ocean Park. Any cheap foodtrip areas? Plus, it's Arvic's first time in HongKong too. So I'm extra excited for him too. Let the countdown begin!I am sooooo excited already! :) My bday's coming up in more or less 2 weeks also. Yey! Turning 25 and excited about it! :D Planning to spend the weekend before my actual bday with the whole family somewhere. Let's see... :) ======= Yesterday, had a massage at TonTon's again. I loved it! Just what I needed. I love that place.. Not too crowded. And not too expensive too! :) ======= Work starts again tomorrow. Oh well.... positive side? At least I'll have enough moolah to enjoy HongKong. Thank you work! :P CARPE DIEM! I'm out.

Shoot that Target

With all the recent carnapping and non-stop news reports about different types of crimes happening left and right, it's really starting to get scary to live here. But don't get me wrong, I still love Pinas. But we all really should start doing something about this. Be vigilant people. Be alert. Keep safe. With that thought (being alert etc etc) I remember a recent bonding activity I had with my brother and Papa over the holidays. I have a feeling what we did is a pretty unique activity to do on Christmas morning. Guess what we did??? Target shooting! My Papa is a gun-club member for the last 2-3 years, I even had been attending several gunshows for the past years with him. He's an officer of the gunclub of our town in N. Ecija. He's in the process of putting up his own target-shooting range at the back of our house. And that's where we were this past Christmas morning. On our way to the back part of the house. Unfinished target-shooting spot... The bul
