Little Miss Wanderlust

We just turned 3 last month. I know the relationship's still very young but I just know it in my heart that we have enough love to last us a lifetime. :) Thanks for 3 wonderful years of togetherness my Dear.. more more more! :D CARPE DIEM! I'm out.

I love "Old Love". The kind of love that old couples share. It's unpretentious, good silly and it warms my heart. I love seeing old couples walking in the mall with holding hands like there's noone else around. The simple acts of love they share like holding the newspaper while the other reads, or handing over tissue or handkerchiefs to one another while they eat. I wish and hope I grow old and experience the same kind of love with Arvic of course! :) Today is my parents' Wedding Anniversary. My papa calls it "Mama's victory day". It's because she won him daw. Haha! :) Happy Anniversary super couple! :) CARPE DIEM! I'm out.

Oh yes yes... Lamb is all you need :P Especially if the dish was as good as the one we ate when we had dinner at Cav Wine Shop - Cafe. Crispy Lamb Belly with Malagos Cheese Ginnochi. Vadouvan Vegetables. Herbed Jus It was delicious! 5 stars.. two thumbs up! ;) Pair it up with the perfect wine from their selection as well. We had our Heart's Day dinner at Cav. We signed-up for their set menu for Vday that costs P1600/person. Not bad at all. It was a complete meal. Free bread I love the bread because it was warm and soft. :) Free Appetizer : Shrimp and Broccoli soup Courtesy of the Chef. :) It was delicious, I'll definitely order this next time. Veal Capaccio This was my ordered appetizer, the middle part was yellow-fin tuna. Yumyum! The sauce was great, went well with the veal and the tuna. :) Smoked Salmon Arvic's appetizer, he liked it as well. The salmon was fresh and the sauce was great. Soup: Duck Consomme Not a big fan of the actual ravioli the duck was wrapped with.. ...

I was browsing through pics of our Vday dinner over the weekend, and I just kept on going back to this one... Awwwwwwww... 21 months of togetherness and still counting. :) I know that our relationship's still 'young' but lasting more than a year really is something already. 3 more months to go then we'll be turning 2 already. Who would have guessed right? 2-3 years ago, we were mere acquaintances, gym buddies then friends... I guess we're lucky we didn't get stuck on each other's "friends zone". :P Yey for us! :) Now allow me to quote Aslyn's "That's when I love you" song. I feel love love loved. :) I've been with my Dear for 20 months already and still counting... And I still feel the same whenever I'm with him (and even without him.) Okay... I just had to post this coz I really really really think it's sweet. :) I got my gift this morning from Arvic. It was wrapped by him and all. I tried to guess what it was and first guess was "It's a book!". I was actually excited already at the idea that it might be a book but then Arvic said "Nope...". But it was obviously a book by the way it was wrapped so I still insisted "Book to e!". He again said, " Hindi kaya.. Open it.". And so I did... Conversation went: Me: "O... book nga! Tama kaya ako." Him: "Hindi kaya.. book S kaya yan.. hindi Book." Corny? Hehe.. But just like what has been said in the movie The Holiday... I have always believed that Valentine's Day is overrated. The overpriced dinners, flowers and stuffed toys. My being practical really gets the best of me during this day. But then again... the mushy side of me overpowers the practical side of me also. Hahaha! So how was our Vday? Well.. he got me flowers... And his mom gave me chocolates! Thanks for the Truffles Tita! : I gave him my gift also. (I was panicking already coz I just bought the gift a few hours before he arrived. Haha!) Based on the pics... looks like he liked it. I am happy and lucky to say that my life is overflowing with it. Family.. Friends.. Significant other. Check Check Check! :) Yes, I am blessed. I am surrounded by people overflowing with it. And I love love love them all to bits too. It's funny that sometimes I think that I don't deserve this much love in my life... And everytime I think that way, I get even more of it.
