At the Buko Bar

When we arrived at the hotel, after checking-in the first stop was merienda (snack time) at the Buko Bar. It's an Al fresco poolside lounge offering sandwiches, pizza, and light refreshment. It's located in the pool side of the main wing. It was just what we needed because we were beginning to feel hungry and thirsty... I loved the wooden floor, stools and comfy couches of the place. Off to the food... Club Sandwich Sausage sandwich Calamares Banana Split My order was the Club Sandwich and I shared it with my mom, it was filling. I was really full even with just eating 1/4 of it. We were surprised with the size serving of the Calamares.. it really can be shared by 3-4 persons. Papa said the Banana split was good and refreshing, Andy loved his Sausage sandwich and the fries. The Room

I love the room as well.. so comfy. While on our way to the room... Andy jumped right into the bed to check if it was soft.. he approves! Here's the rest of the pics.. I loved the room, for some reason it really made me feel relaxed. Proof that I really did? I slept until noon on our 3rd day. :)) Another thing that I love about it is that we had free internet access. So we were able to talk to my sister who's in the US and updated her about the trip and shared pics instantly. CARPE DIEM! I'm out.

Thank You Cebu!

@ The Filling Station

After shopping at the outlet stores at Mile-Hi and a quick coffee break at Starbucks. We headed over to the Filling Station for Ice Cream!!!!!! I remember the last time we went here, I was with my family, and we were really happy with the shakes and the sundaes. It was nice to know that they added a veranda at the back part already, the lack of seats was an issue before. Lo and behold, the new veranda area... Nice ambiance, nice hillside view and you get to feel the cool breeze. What more could you ask for? Oh yes, the ice cream... Yumyumyum! :D The Filling Station also has Shakey's, a Japanese resto (forget the name), Figaro. It's a really nice place to just sit back, relax and enjoy the afternoon or early evening with friends. :) CARPE DIEM! I'm out.

@Camp John Hay

Another one of our destinations during our Baguio trip was Camp John Hay. :) I love this place because it's a feast for the eyes.... greeeeeeeeeen all over. What to do? You can jump all over the place like what we did... Shop at the outlet stores along Mile-Hi... Hang around and have coffee at Starbucks... But wait.. there's more! You can also drop by the Filling Station for some amazing ice cream. Keep you posted on the next entry about this... ;D CARPE DIEM! I'm out.

ROAR! RAWR!

I have been going to Baguio ever since I was a kid. But this was the first time that we stopped and took pictures with the famous Lion at Kennon road. :) It's another first time for me. Thank you guys.. :) CARPE DIEM! I'm out!

If only money wasn't an issue...

...I'll be back in HK for some foodtripping, a lot of shopping and more picture-taking... as in NOW! =p I miss miss miss the place already. The malls, the food (yes, even the fastfood), the feel of being on vacation.... I shall plan for my next (budget) trip ASAP. The temptation of wanderlust is way too strong again. CARPE DIEM! I'm out.

Boracay '09 : R & R

Long overdue Bora post. :P Before Summer actually ends.. I just felt that I should get my Bora series of posts over and done with.:) It was my second time in Boracay... and I can honestly say that this was the first time that I actually enjoyed the beach and the sand. :) My first trip there was last year and the itinerary for the whole stay was planned already, so it was mostly activities like ATV, island hopping, snorkeling. This year, it was mostly swimming and sitting around. Complete relaxation. :) The whole group stayed at SUR. A really neat resort located in Station 1. A white building, pretty and cozy huts, nice view and a really nice beach front... *Sigh*.. Take me back? I suddenly miss the sun, sand and free time. CARPE DIEM! I'm out.
