I wanna be a Chicago-an

I fell in love with Chicago.. as a tourist.
It has a mix of old and new structures and the weather was nice and cool (at least it was when we were there). I heard it gets really really cold during the winter. Oprah is from Chicago... and Michael Jordan too!!! :P Plus... I really like museums. And Chicago has a lot of them!!!

Most of our time in Chicago was spent walking along Downtown and eating out... the food is good! It still does not compare with what NYC can offer but there are definitely good places to dine. I will blog about our foodtrips too. :)

For now, here's some of our pics here and there. I can say that we'll definitely back. :)

O for Oprah

Thank you Chicago! :)

I'm out. :)

I used to be really afraid of mascots when I was younger. Mama told me they'd have a hard time trying to get me from under the tables (that's where I hide) whenever I see one. But look at me now...

Look Ma, no tears! :D

Pic was taken at M&M World, New York.

Weeeee! Happy weekend peeps.
I'm out.

Travel Buddies

We have been all over the US and bits of Canada from late October to mid November. It was a blast! I believe you learn more about your partner in times like this. Like how he interacts with strangers, how he enjoys new things and how he is amazed when it's his first time in certain places. My guy is loads of fun to be with. He's my ultimate travel buddy. :) I'm lucky to have someone who's not afraid to get lost with me in strange places and who's always game to get crazy and have fun.

Here's a picture of us having the waiting area all to ourselves because we're too early for our connecting flight. :))

More travel stories to follow ;)
I'm out. :)
