Our 2nd :)

Up to the very day before our actual Anniversary we had no concrete plans of where to eat and celebrate. Our Lolo Dad's dinner didn't push through because I had to work late that Friday, then it was my highschool friend's (Cookie!) surprise birthday party the following night. So dinner plans were moved to Sunday and Lolo Dad's is closed during Sundays. So we had to make new plans.. quickly. :) Then I remembered that I wanted to try Bellini's way way before. And this might just be the perfect chance to do so.

Bellini's is considered an authentic Italian resto because it is run by Roberto Bellini. A former Italian paparazzi. In the walls of the place you'll definitely see a number of Mr. Roberto's shots.
Mr. Roberto married a Filipina and they opted to open a restaurant here years after. And the rest is history. :)

Bellini's is located inside the Marikina Shoe Expo in Cubao. A very unusual place in my opinion to open up a restaurant, especially an Italian one. But I guess that's one of the reasons why it draws people. It's unique and appealing in a certain way. :) The price is affordable as well. You get to taste authentic Italian dishes (pizza and pasta) for prices ranging from P150 - P300 and the wine selection is great as well. I chose this place because Arvic loves wine and he definitely is a fan of pasta. I loved the food, the service and the ambiance. You really should see the ceiling and the walls! I'll let the pictures do the talking. I just wish I give the place justice coz it really was a sight to see. :)

Now for the food pics. :)

Until next time Bellini's, we will definitely be back. :)

CARPE DIEM!
I'm out.

Ba-Bye Ate

Today was quite a sad day for our family. For a very close-knit family, goodbyes are really extra difficult to say . Especially if the one leaving will be miles and seas away. My Ate (with her husband) left this morning for the US. They'll be starting their new life there. She already has work so I don't need to worry about that anyway, and I'm sure that she'll definitely do well. My parents were really sad... maybe it's the thought of being "away" from her. Tipong you have to hop on a plane pa just to be able to get to her. The whole family has US visa naman , we can go there anytime (as long as we have the money I guess :p) Yes, I cried a lot as well... and I guess it's because of all the bilins I got from her. The one that stuck the most " Ikaw na bahala dito ha.. Alagaan mo sila Mama and Papa. Si Ivan ha... Wag mo silang pabayaan. " My nephew on the other hand was a different story... he was eager to go home already when we got to NAIA. ...

Chuper Excited!

2 weeks to go.. then I'll be painting HongKong and Macau red with my Sanity Keepers... Any suggestions on where to go to? Beside from the usual night market, HK Disneyland and Ocean Park. Any cheap foodtrip areas? Plus, it's Arvic's first time in HongKong too. So I'm extra excited for him too. Let the countdown begin!I am sooooo excited already! :) My bday's coming up in more or less 2 weeks also. Yey! Turning 25 and excited about it! :D Planning to spend the weekend before my actual bday with the whole family somewhere. Let's see... :) ======= Yesterday, had a massage at TonTon's again. I loved it! Just what I needed. I love that place.. Not too crowded. And not too expensive too! :) ======= Work starts again tomorrow. Oh well.... positive side? At least I'll have enough moolah to enjoy HongKong. Thank you work! :P CARPE DIEM! I'm out.

What a Creepy Idea

While we were on our way to the Esplanade, we passed by one long hallway that had several 'artwork' on them. From afar we thought they were paintings, but as we went closer, we saw that they were actually pictures. I asked my friend Aimee if she had any idea who they were, then as we walked some more and saw more pictures, we then realized that they were pictures of.... People sentenced with 'Death by Lethal Injection' and their Last Meals.... =\ There was even one picture that says that the man refused his last meal and requested for a piece of paper and wrote "I want Justice" instead. How eerie is that?!.... I wonder why they had such an idea... I'm out.
