What a Creepy Idea

While we were on our way to the Esplanade, we passed by one long hallway that had several 'artwork' on them.

From afar we thought they were paintings, but as we went closer, we saw that they were actually pictures.

I asked my friend Aimee if she had any idea who they were, then as we walked some more and saw more pictures, we then realized that they were pictures of....

People sentenced with 'Death by Lethal Injection' and their Last Meals.... =\

There was even one picture that says that the man refused his last meal and requested for a piece of paper and wrote "I want Justice" instead.

How eerie is that?!.... I wonder why they had such an idea...

I'm out.

whoa! i found that kind of weird.
i wouldn't wish even in my wildest dream to be convicted but hypothetically speaking, if i have my portrait done the same way with my last-meal, i wonder how kare-kare and ice cream would look amazing with my mug shot. LOL!

I wonder whose bright idea it was? And what's the message anyway? To be good boys and girls?

Very nice and interesting. I've always been curious about the last meal of the people in this row. Pero kung ako yun, I'm not sure if I will eat pa.

Hi there! I was wondering if you would consider posting an article of mine. It's about an up and coming band about to enter mainstream this year. They are currently working with D.Bascombe, the producer/ mixer who has collaborated with Kylie Minogue, Natalie Imbruglia, Verve, Suede, etc.

If you agree to post the article, I will provide you with the article and pics. And, for your effort, I'm including a free mp3 of the band's song which I hope you will enjoy as much as I did! Also, I can send $0.10 to you via PayPal. :) The article may also help drive a different population demographic to your site, which will hopefully further increase your readership. :D

Tell me if you're interested in posting my article. Pls email me at doc_alma_jones [at] yahoo [dot] com. Thanks for your time!

Cheers,
A.J.

Ba-Bye Ate

Today was quite a sad day for our family. For a very close-knit family, goodbyes are really extra difficult to say . Especially if the one leaving will be miles and seas away. My Ate (with her husband) left this morning for the US. They'll be starting their new life there. She already has work so I don't need to worry about that anyway, and I'm sure that she'll definitely do well. My parents were really sad... maybe it's the thought of being "away" from her. Tipong you have to hop on a plane pa just to be able to get to her. The whole family has US visa naman , we can go there anytime (as long as we have the money I guess :p) Yes, I cried a lot as well... and I guess it's because of all the bilins I got from her. The one that stuck the most " Ikaw na bahala dito ha.. Alagaan mo sila Mama and Papa. Si Ivan ha... Wag mo silang pabayaan. " My nephew on the other hand was a different story... he was eager to go home already when we got to NAIA.

Chuper Excited!

2 weeks to go.. then I'll be painting HongKong and Macau red with my Sanity Keepers... Any suggestions on where to go to? Beside from the usual night market, HK Disneyland and Ocean Park. Any cheap foodtrip areas? Plus, it's Arvic's first time in HongKong too. So I'm extra excited for him too. Let the countdown begin!I am sooooo excited already! :) My bday's coming up in more or less 2 weeks also. Yey! Turning 25 and excited about it! :D Planning to spend the weekend before my actual bday with the whole family somewhere. Let's see... :) ======= Yesterday, had a massage at TonTon's again. I loved it! Just what I needed. I love that place.. Not too crowded. And not too expensive too! :) ======= Work starts again tomorrow. Oh well.... positive side? At least I'll have enough moolah to enjoy HongKong. Thank you work! :P CARPE DIEM! I'm out.

Shoot that Target

With all the recent carnapping and non-stop news reports about different types of crimes happening left and right, it's really starting to get scary to live here. But don't get me wrong, I still love Pinas. But we all really should start doing something about this. Be vigilant people. Be alert. Keep safe. With that thought (being alert etc etc) I remember a recent bonding activity I had with my brother and Papa over the holidays. I have a feeling what we did is a pretty unique activity to do on Christmas morning. Guess what we did??? Target shooting! My Papa is a gun-club member for the last 2-3 years, I even had been attending several gunshows for the past years with him. He's an officer of the gunclub of our town in N. Ecija. He's in the process of putting up his own target-shooting range at the back of our house. And that's where we were this past Christmas morning. On our way to the back part of the house. Unfinished target-shooting spot... The bul
