Ice Cream!!!

While I was walking along Orchard Rd. with Stesh and Wayne, Stesha was telling me that I should not forget to try the dirty ice cream version of Singapore, but because we were already full that night, I wasn't able to do so. When Mama visited me over the weekend, it was a day of shopping and nonstop walking. While we were walking along Orchard Rd., we saw that people were lining up to buy some ice cream, of course we lined up too.

The ice cream was cut into "1 bar of butter" proportions. Then they'd ask you if you'd like to have it in a bun or sandwiched between wafers. Para maiba, we tried the wafer. They had a variety of flavors:

Mama had the Macadamia, I had the Tin Roof Brownie.

Yumyum! Another must-try for SG tourists. :)

CARPE DIEM!
I'm out.

Naku we didn't get to try this! Another reason to go back. My wife loved Orchard Road. Shopping is Singapore is so hard. There's just so many malls! :)
I'm contacting you in regards to your blog and writing skills. I'll get the to point of my reason of contact. Basically I like your writing skills and I'm interested in learning more about you and your writing ability. We currently have a small book project (rewrite a book) and we're in the process of finding someone to complete it for us.

Please let me know if you're interested and we can chat further about it. It can lead to other projects in the near future as well.

I look forward to hearing back from you in a timely manner so we can proceed with this.

Ba-Bye Ate

Today was quite a sad day for our family. For a very close-knit family, goodbyes are really extra difficult to say . Especially if the one leaving will be miles and seas away. My Ate (with her husband) left this morning for the US. They'll be starting their new life there. She already has work so I don't need to worry about that anyway, and I'm sure that she'll definitely do well. My parents were really sad... maybe it's the thought of being "away" from her. Tipong you have to hop on a plane pa just to be able to get to her. The whole family has US visa naman , we can go there anytime (as long as we have the money I guess :p) Yes, I cried a lot as well... and I guess it's because of all the bilins I got from her. The one that stuck the most " Ikaw na bahala dito ha.. Alagaan mo sila Mama and Papa. Si Ivan ha... Wag mo silang pabayaan. " My nephew on the other hand was a different story... he was eager to go home already when we got to NAIA.

Chuper Excited!

2 weeks to go.. then I'll be painting HongKong and Macau red with my Sanity Keepers... Any suggestions on where to go to? Beside from the usual night market, HK Disneyland and Ocean Park. Any cheap foodtrip areas? Plus, it's Arvic's first time in HongKong too. So I'm extra excited for him too. Let the countdown begin!I am sooooo excited already! :) My bday's coming up in more or less 2 weeks also. Yey! Turning 25 and excited about it! :D Planning to spend the weekend before my actual bday with the whole family somewhere. Let's see... :) ======= Yesterday, had a massage at TonTon's again. I loved it! Just what I needed. I love that place.. Not too crowded. And not too expensive too! :) ======= Work starts again tomorrow. Oh well.... positive side? At least I'll have enough moolah to enjoy HongKong. Thank you work! :P CARPE DIEM! I'm out.

What a Creepy Idea

While we were on our way to the Esplanade, we passed by one long hallway that had several 'artwork' on them. From afar we thought they were paintings, but as we went closer, we saw that they were actually pictures. I asked my friend Aimee if she had any idea who they were, then as we walked some more and saw more pictures, we then realized that they were pictures of.... People sentenced with 'Death by Lethal Injection' and their Last Meals.... =\ There was even one picture that says that the man refused his last meal and requested for a piece of paper and wrote "I want Justice" instead. How eerie is that?!.... I wonder why they had such an idea... I'm out.
