Marciano's (Part 2)

Soooooo... we had dinner at Marciano's again last Friday. Obviously, we liked their pasta that much. :P And this time around, I got to take pics of the pasta dishes.. Yey!

Michael Corione Floretti Meatballs - P308.00

There was something different with how the meatballs tasted. Must be the herbs mixed with it. All in all, it was something different from the usual Spaghetti with meatballs, plus.. you can choose the type of pasta noodle you like for the dish.

Next... we ordered the same dish we had the last time because we really liked the chicken! :)
Woody's Wild Mushroom Limguini (With prosciutto wrapped chicken) - P328.00

Yummy! :) We were really full afterwards. I think this will be the last time I blog about this place for the rest of the year.

Baguio Trip - Forest House (Part 1)

To those who tried to guess (see previous entry), we were at Forest House, Baguio City!

The place wasn't really part of our itinerary (if we even had one!). We just passed by this place while making a U-Turn back to Nevada Square because we wanted to grab some drinks at a random bar there. The place caught are eyes because it looked so homey and there were a number of cars parked around it. When we tried to ask for a parking slot the guard told us that it was a full-house and that they were entertaining reserved guests only for that night. This made us more curious about the place. So when we got home, we all decided that we'll reserve a table for the next night "just in case" we'd like to try it out.

As we were entering the place, I definitely knew we made the right choice to try it out.

It was evident what the theme was for the place. All-out Christmas-y!:) We opted to have dinner at the Veranda area to savor the cold Baguio breeze. Dinner food selection followed.…

KKK: Food Revolution

It's been some kind of 'tradition' or nakasanayan na to hear mass with the family on Sundays then eat out. It may be dinner or lunch. Depends if Mama and Papa will go home to the province on Sunday evening or not. But lately, since everyone seems to be busy with something, may be work(Me), school(the brother) or reunions(the parents), we end up hearing (anticipated) mass on Saturdays then unplanned lunch or dinners on Sundays.

So one fine Sunday, we found ourselves having lunch in a new place (new to us) at the side of SM Cubao. It was 'KKK'.

Browsing through their menu we found lots of food selections. Most of course are Filipino dishes. The interior and most of the decorations had a native touch to it.

I especially liked this piece made of recycled wine bottles

And this picture or wallpaper that showed some of our national heroes. I think that's Jose Rizal on the left  side.

Off to the food.

Lumpiang Shanghai - This was really good. Especially the sauce.
