Wow...

... that was what went through my mind when we got to the hotel. It was my first time in Cebu and I was really just looking forward to the foodtrips and wasn't really asking where we'll be staying. So it was a nice surprise when I was told we were gonna stay at Shangrila Mactan. :)

The place was beautiful..


Especially the bar beside the pool area. :)



I knew right away this was gonna be one memorable getaway. ;)

eh shangri-la naman pala eh. mukhang maganda talaga dyan.

i remember when my family and i were i cebu, mga 12 years ago, nung dumaan kami dyan, halo halo lang ang nakain namin sa sobrang mahal ng food! hehe!

I love this place!:-) Despite the fake white sand, everything was just perfect! We got the package with unlimited snacks and use of water sports. Super sulit. :-)

I've been to Cebu countless of times pero never pa akong nakapunta sa Shangri-la. Great photos!

Never got a chance to sleep over there. Dumaan lang kame hanggang sa pool area during our visit. Ang ganda pala!

Ba-Bye Ate

Today was quite a sad day for our family. For a very close-knit family, goodbyes are really extra difficult to say . Especially if the one leaving will be miles and seas away. My Ate (with her husband) left this morning for the US. They'll be starting their new life there. She already has work so I don't need to worry about that anyway, and I'm sure that she'll definitely do well. My parents were really sad... maybe it's the thought of being "away" from her. Tipong you have to hop on a plane pa just to be able to get to her. The whole family has US visa naman , we can go there anytime (as long as we have the money I guess :p) Yes, I cried a lot as well... and I guess it's because of all the bilins I got from her. Chuper Excited!

2 weeks to go.. then I'll be painting HongKong and Macau red with my Sanity Keepers... Any suggestions on where to go to? Beside from the usual night market, HK Disneyland and Ocean Park. Any cheap foodtrip areas? Plus, it's Arvic's first time in HongKong too. So I'm extra excited for him too. Let the countdown begin!I am sooooo excited already! :) My bday's coming up in more or less 2 weeks also. Yey! Turning 25 and excited about it! :D Planning to spend the weekend before my actual bday with the whole family somewhere. Let's see... :) ======= Yesterday, had a massage at TonTon's again. I loved it! Just what I needed. I love that place.. Not too crowded. And not too expensive too! :) ======= Work starts again tomorrow. Oh well.... positive side? Makansutra Gluttons Bay at Singapore

First foodtrip stop was at... It was my first time in Singapore and I was told that I shouldn't miss having dinner at this place. I was really excited to try the food. The Fooooooooooood! Satay, something omelette (crab ata) , spicy greens The meat was tasty, I love the peanut sauce, I'm soooo happy I'm not allergic to peanuts. LOL! The omelette sauce and the veggies were all spicy. :) Yang Chow Fried Rice Spicy Baby Squid This was one of my favorite dish in SG. :) And of course, the must try daw... Stingray! It tasted like fish to me. :) Food price : Affordable, I think a dish is just around $4-10SGD Location : You exit from City Hall station and walk all the way to Esplanade Mall -> Makansutra Gluttons Bay Pte.
