Christmas 2012

It has been a while since I last posted in this blog and the reason behind it is simply because I was too busy enjoying each moment, food and conversation that I seldom forget to take pictures. And if you do read my blogs you'll notice that I always include pictures in my post. So there... that's my excuse. :P

Anyway... I'm back. And allow me to go way way way back to the last quarter of 2012 and update you with what I have been up to. :)

Christmas 2012 was extra special for me since we spent it in the US and we were complete (with an additional blessing named Layla!). It has been years since we celebrated Christmas as a complete family since Ate (my sister) moved to the US with her family. Initially my brother was not supposed to join us since he's busy with Medical School but I insisted that he followed even if it meant he'll just spend 2 weeks in the US. Quality time over quantity! :)


I think it'll be years again before we get the chance to do this again. I'm still praying though that this will happen again at least in 2 years or so. :)

Alone.. Not alone!

If there's one thing I'm thankful for when Arvic finally found me (or when I finally found him :P) is that now I get to share all my craziness with another person. It's not that it wasn't fun being single and all, it has its perks too. But having someone to share random dreams, wants, weirdness and plans with doubles the fun ;D Sudden rush of mushiness ha? Ba-Bye Ate

Today was quite a sad day for our family. For a very close-knit family, goodbyes are really extra difficult to say . Especially if the one leaving will be miles and seas away. My Ate (with her husband) left this morning for the US. They'll be starting their new life there. She already has work so I don't need to worry about that anyway, and I'm sure that she'll definitely do well. My parents were really sad... maybe it's the thought of being "away" from her. Tipong you have to hop on a plane pa just to be able to get to her. The whole family has US visa naman , we can go there anytime (as long as we have the money I guess :p) Yes, I cried a lot as well... and I guess it's because of all the bilins I got from her. The one that stuck the most " Ikaw na bahala dito ha.. Alagaan mo sila Mama and Papa. Si Ivan ha... Wag mo silang pabayaan. " My nephew on the other hand was a different story... he was eager to go home already when we got to NAIA. ...
